Welcome to Karol Szymanowski Complex of State Music Schools No 4 in Warsaw

Let us tell you who we are and what we do.

Our school is a specialist music school inside a co-educational comprehensive school. It means that the school specialises in high-level musical tuition combined with a general academic education which follows the national curriculum. Therefore it offers excellent preparation for university, further music education or future music careers. On completion, our students achieve Certificate of Secondary Education as well as  Artistic Education Diploma granting the graduate the professional title of musician. The music covered within the syllabus is classical music with lessons focusing on classical forms but  we encourage the study of a wide range of music.

The school teaches students aged between 6 and 19 across 3 stages of education (12 years) and comprises primary school and secondary school (middle school and high school) as well as part-time afternoon school offering only music lessons.
