INFORMATION FOR FOREIGN
APLICANTS
- 2nd
Warsaw International Master Courses will
take place between 18 and 26
August 2007 at the Karol Szymanowski School of
Music in Warsaw.
- The following
groups are eligible: students and graduates of academies of music, pupils of
music school and teachers of music education.
- All lessons run
within the framework of Master Courses are open and include: lectures,
individual lessons with chosen teachers, group lessons, concerts of teachers
and outstanding participants in the School Concert Hall.
- Candidates can
register as active or passive participants. Active
participants are offered a series of 4 60-minute lessons with a chosen
teacher. The organisers arrange cooperation with
accompanists for active participants who will be selected to take part in
concerts.
- Clearly written
application form with a
proof of payment of registration fee attached (active participants)
must be submitted to the Organisers by post, fax
or e-mail by 30 June 2007
(Please note! It is the
date of receipt that counts).
- The number of
vacancies is limited. The Organisers will confirm if you have been approved
as an active participant by 10 July 2007.
Application forms submitted later will be considered only in case of free
places.
- Course fees
must be transfered to the Organisers’ bank account by 31
July 2007 at the latest.
- Students who are
under age must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for their
safety during the course.
- Inauguration of Courses will take
place on Saturday, 18 August 2007 at 6 p.m. The final concert will take
place on Sunday, 26 August 2007 at noon.
FEES
- The number of a
bank account to which the registration fee and
course fee should be transferred: NBP O/O W-wa 45 1010 1010 0194 7713 9150 0000
- Fees for active
participants:
- a)
Registration fee – 60 Euro.
Registration fee will not be refunded.
- b)
Solo course including a series of 4 60-minute lessons – 240
Euro.
- c)
Chamber music course including a series of 4 60-minute lessons:
- duo: 360 Euro,
- trio: 480 Euro,
- more numerous groups: 600 Euro.
- The possibility of buying
additional lessons (60 Euro for 60 minutes) depends on free places.
- Every participant pays the
registration fee individually. Participants who take part in courses led
by different professors pay the registration fee once.
- Payment for the
above mentioned courses entitles you to participate as an observer in the
remaining courses.
- Fees for
passive participants:
- a) Entrance
ticket for the whole course – 120 Euro.
- b)
Entrance ticket for 1 day –
20 Euro (can be bought at the school during the
course).
ACCOMODATION AND MEALS
- The Organisers
will arrange accommodation for participants and their teachers / companions
in "Dziekanka" Student Dormitory (ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 58/60)
in 2- and 3-person rooms priced 35 zł / person for 1 night. The Organisers
will not arrange reservations in any other hotels.
- Full board in the
school canteen can be ordered in your application form or bought during the
courses (breakfast - 6 zł, dinner - 10 zł, supper - 7 zł).
